Iowa High School Baseball - West Lyon wallops Sibley-Ocheyedan
May 28, 2025: Inwood, IA 51240 The West Lyon Wildcats baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Wednesday.
The Wildcats now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Okoboji for a Siouxland test on Friday, May 30. West Lyon will play a Pioneers team coming off a 7-2 league win over Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Sibley-Ocheyedan drops to 0-2 on the year. The Generals host Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA) to play the NIGHTHAWKS in a Siouxland test on Friday, May 30. The NIGHTHAWKS go into the test with a record of 0-2.
