Iowa High School Softball - North Iowa succumbs to North Union
May 28, 2025: Buffalo Center, IA 50424 In Wednesday's league test, the North Union Warriors (Armstrong, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), by a tally of 11-0.
Next, the Warriors clash with the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 29. North Union will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The E'Hawks go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Spencer (Spencer, IA).
The Bison (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire (Ruthven, IA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire was routed by Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA), 10-2, in a non-league test.
