Iowa High School Softball - West Monona edges Riverside
May 28, 2025: Oakland, IA 51560 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting West Monona Spartans softball team scored a tight 8-6 win over the Riverside Bulldogs.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Stars come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Sioux City North nipped Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA), 10-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) in a Western Iowa match, on Thursday, May 29. Riverside will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
