Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO), 9-4 in a league test.

With the win, Legacy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Lightning host Broomfield (Broomfield, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Front Range test on Tuesday, June 1. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 10-3. Broomfield won 5-3 in their recent league test against Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO)

With the defeat, Poudre falls to 1-12 on the season. The Impalas host Monarch (Louisville, CO) to battle the Coyotes in a 5A Front Range test on Tuesday, June 1. The Coyotes come into the test with a record of 2-7. Monarch won 9-6 in their recent league test against Boulder (Boulder, CO)
