New Jersey High School Baseball - Verona loses to New Providence
May 29, 2024: New Providence, NJ 07924 The New Providence Pioneers crushed the visiting Verona Hillbillies baseball team by a count of 23-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 11-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league bout on Friday, May 31. New Providence will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-11.
