May 29, 2024: Madison, VA 22727 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) and the visiting Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), saw Madison County's soccer squad beat Fort Defiance by a margin of 6-2.
The Mountaineers now sport a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clarke County for a non-league test on Friday, May 31. Madison County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 17-2.
With the loss, Fort Defiance drops to 9-6 on the season.
