May 29, 2024: Van Meter, IA 50261 Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting West Branch Bears (West Branch, IA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the West Liberty Comets (West Liberty, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 31. Van Meter will attempt to move on its 20-5 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Western Christian (Hull, IA).
The Bears now possess a 19-1 record.
