The Maine Central Institute Huskies baseball squad (Pittsfield, ME), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the visiting Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME)

With the triumph, Erskine Academy moves its record to 3-9 on the season. The Eagles host Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME) to confront the Panthers in a Class B South contest on Friday, May 30. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 10-4. Medomak Valley lost 11-6 in their recent league contest against Leavitt (Turner, ME)

The Huskies now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount View for a Class C North contest on Saturday, May 31. Maine Central Institute will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
