May 29, 2025: Sheffield, IA 50475 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) and the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA), observed West Fork's softball team get by Iowa Falls-Alden by a tally of 6-5.
The Warhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings go into the Top of Iowa-East bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Northwood-Kensett tipped Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 6-5, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Cadets clash with the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a North Central bout, on Friday, May 30. Iowa Falls-Alden will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 20-2 non-league win over Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA).
