May 29, 2026: Staunton, VA 24401 The Altavista Colonels softball squad (Altavista, VA), was routed 7-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA)
With the triumph, Riverheads improves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Gladiators travel to William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to face the Generals in a non-league contest on Tuesday, June 2. The Generals enter the contest with a record of 15-7. William Campbell won 18-2 in their recent non-league contest against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA)
The Colonels now hold a 9-12 record.
