Marlboro Mustangs (Marlboro, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Old Bridge Knights (Old Bridge, NJ), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 15-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern Burlington for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 1. Marlboro will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Greyhounds record now stands at 23-4.

With the loss, Old Bridge falls to 22-6 on the campaign.
