Iowa High School Softball - Central City bounces Central
May 30, 2025: Central City, IA 52214 In Friday's non-league match, the host Central City Wildcats softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Central Warriors.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Springville (Springville, IA). The Orioles come into the Tri-Rivers - West match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Springville notched a victory over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 13-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 2. Central will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 22-7 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
