New Jersey High School Softball - Sterling edged by Gloucester City
May 30, 2025: Gloucester City, NJ 08030 Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ), 4-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Gloucester City improves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Medford Tech (Medford, NJ) to play the Jaguars in a non-league game on Wednesday, June 4. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 16-3. Medford Tech won 1-0 in their recent non-league game against Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ)
The Silver Knights now hold a 11-12 record.
