The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Kettle Run Cougars (Nokesville, VA) and the visiting Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), observed Kettle Run's softball team get by Skyline by a tally of 2-1.

The Cougars (11-8) will now prepare for their bout against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 14-7 record. In their last bout, Brentsville District tipped Meridian (Falls Church, VA), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
