Iowa High School Softball - Wilton edges Marquette
May 30, 2025: Bellevue, IA 52031 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Wilton Beavers softball team scored a tight 7-5 win over the Marquette Defenders.
The Beavers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Calamus-Wheatland by Alburnett (Alburnett, IA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Defenders confront the Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, June 2. Marquette will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Stars come into the match with a 4-0 record after their 11-3 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA).
