May 31, 2025: Mediapolis, IA 52637 Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 4-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Mediapolis moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to battle the Trailblazers in a non-league match on Saturday, May 31. The Trailblazers come into the match with a record of 3-1. Beckman won 7-1 in their recent league match against Camanche (Camanche, IA)
The Dons now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riceville for a Iowa Star - North match on Monday, June 2. Don Bosco will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-3 league win over Clarksville (Clarksville, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-4.
