Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Metuchen upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wall Township (Wall, NJ) to battle the Crimson Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, June 4. The Crimson Knights come into the test with a record of 13-3. Wall Township won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ)

With the defeat, Bernards falls to 0-7 on the season.
