Iowa High School Softball - Estherville Lincoln Central holds off Earlham
June 1, 2024: Earlham, IA 50072 Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets (Estherville, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Earlham Cardinals (Earlham, IA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Midgets now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spencer for a Lakes challenge on Monday, June 3. Estherville Lincoln Central will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over North Union (Armstrong, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Earlham falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Van Meter (Van Meter, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 3. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Van Meter won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Perry (Perry, IA)
