Massachusetts High School Softball - Westport drops to Westfield
June 1, 2025: Westfield, MA 01085 Westfield Bombers (Westfield, MA) supporters left the game thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA), 12-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Westfield improves its record to 17-6 on the year. The Bombers travel to Woburn Memorial (Woburn, MA) to face the Tanners in a non-league game on Monday, June 2. The Tanners enter the game with a record of 1-3. Woburn Memorial won 7-5 in their recent non-league game against Burlington (Burlington, MA)
The Wildcats now hold a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hoosac Valley for a non-league game on Monday, June 2. Westport will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Turners Falls (Montague, MA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 17-3.
