In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the Cranston East Thunderbolts.

The Chieftains now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burrillville for a non-league test on Saturday, June 5. Ponaganset will face a Broncos squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Broncos record now stands at 9-0.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, June 8. Cranston East will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record.
