Virginia High School Softball - Fort Defiance bounces Riverheads
June 2, 2025: Fort Defiance, VA 24437 The Fort Defiance Indians softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Riverheads Gladiators to 3 in the Indians non-league win on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Woodstock for a non-league battle on Wednesday, June 4. Fort Defiance will confront a Falcons team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Clarke County (Berryville, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 19-2.
With the loss, Riverheads moves to 9-8 on the season.
