June 4, 2024: Albia, IA 52531 Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lynnville-Sully upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to English Valleys (North English, IA) to battle the Bears in a South Iowa Cedar test on Wednesday, June 5. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-6. English Valleys lost 17-6 in their recent league test against H-L-V (Victor, IA)
With the defeat, Albia falls to 5-4 on the season. The Blue demons travel to Knoxville (Knoxville, IA) to battle the Panthers in a South Central test on Wednesday, June 5. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-4.
