Iowa High School Baseball - Boyer Valley defeats West Monona
June 4, 2024: Onawa, IA 51040 Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Boyer Valley upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Woodbine (Woodbine, IA) to battle the Tigers in a Rolling Valley test on Wednesday, June 5. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-0. Woodbine won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against CAM (Anita, IA)
With the defeat, West Monona falls to 2-7 on the season. The Spartans host Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to battle the Panthers in a Western Valley test on Wednesday, June 5. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 7-3. Kingsley-Pierson won 11-0 in their recent league battle against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA)
