June 4, 2024: North Reading, MA 01864 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host North Reading Hornets softball team scored a close 10-7 win over the Cardinal Spellman Cardinals.
Next, the Hornets face the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks (Hathorne, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, June 5. North Reading will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Newburyport (Newburyport, MA).
With the loss, Cardinal Spellman falls to 9-14 on the campaign.
