June 5, 2024: Forest City, IA 50436 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA) and the host Forest City Indians (Forest City, IA), saw Bishop Garrigan's baseball squad knock off Forest City by a count of 7-3.
Coming up next, the Golden Bears play the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, June 6. Bishop Garrigan will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 10-9 league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA).
The Indians now possess a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Humboldt for a non-league battle on Thursday, June 6.
