June 5, 2025: Janesville, IA 50647 The St. Ansgar Saints baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Janesville Wildcats to 2 in the Saints non-league win on Thursday.
The Saints now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Fork for a non-league test on Friday, June 6. St. Ansgar will play a Warhawks team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Janesville drops to 5-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA) to play the Royals in a non-league test on Friday, June 6. The Royals go into the test with a record of 3-4. Colo-NESCO lost 6-2 in their recent league test against Baxter (Baxter, IA)
