June 5, 2025: Sheffield, IA 50475 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) and the visiting Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), observed West Fork's softball team prevail over Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS by a tally of 8-0.
The Warhawks (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the Top of Iowa-East bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, St. Ansgar knocked off Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA), 9-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the clash with the Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA) in a North Central bout, on Friday, June 6. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will attempt to advance on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
