In Thursday's non-league challenge, the North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) baseball squad the visiting Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA), by a margin of 4-0.

With the win, North Star betters its record to 21-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 23-2. Bald Eagle Area won 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA)
