The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers routed the visiting Valley View Cougars softball squad by a final score of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (17-3) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Mountain (Schuylkill Haven, PA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 25-1 record. In their last battle, Blue Mountain held off Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA), 13-3, in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now possess a 21-4 record.
