June 6, 2025: Central City, IA 52214 The Central City Wildcats triumphed over the visiting West Central Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats play the Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West challenge, on Monday, June 9. Central City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA).
The Blue Devils (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, New Hampton was routed by Kee (Lansing, IA), 8-5, in a non-league challenge.
