First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA), 10-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, First Colonial upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Godwin (Richmond, VA) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, June 8. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 20-6. Godwin won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Maury (Norfolk, VA)

With the defeat, Riverbend falls to 17-8 on the season.
