Iowa High School Softball - Lisbon gets by Crestwood
June 7, 2024: Cresco, IA 52136 Lisbon Lions (Lisbon, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 11-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alburnett for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 10. Lisbon will face a Pirates squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Wilton (Wilton, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 17-1.
With the loss, Crestwood falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA) to face the Chickasaws in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 11. The Chickasaws enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. New Hampton lost 18-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Waukon (Waukon, IA)
