Iowa High School Softball - Storm Lake bounces Harris-Lake Park
June 7, 2025: Lake Park, IA 51347 The Storm Lake Tornadoes softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Harris-Lake Park Wolves to 1 in the Tornadoes non-league win on Saturday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cherokee Washington for a Lakes battle on Monday, June 9. Storm Lake will confront a Braves team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Braves record now stands at 2-5.
The Wolves now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host St. Mary's for a War Eagle game on Monday, June 9. Harris-Lake Park will play a Hawks squad coming off a 8-5 league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
