June 7, 2025: Hudson, IA 50643 Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA), 13-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Hudson upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a North Iowa Cedar - Central game on Monday, June 9. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 1-5. Aplington-Parkersburg won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA)
The Wildcats now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Baxter for a non-league game on Monday, June 9. Janesville will play a squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA). The record now stands at 1-7.
