June 8, 2024: Boone, IA 50036 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) and the visiting Marion Wolves (Marion, IA), saw Boone's softball squad nip Marion by a count of 3-2.
The Toreadors now sport a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carlisle for a non-league match on Monday, June 10. Boone will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Marion falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Benton (Van Horne, IA) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Monday, June 10. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 11-3. Benton won 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Ames (Ames, IA)
