New York High School Softball - Williamsville North bounces Frontier
Williamsville North Spartans (Williamsville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Frontier Falcons (Hamburg, NY), 13-1 in a league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clarence for a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Friday, June 11. Williamsville North will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Frontier falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY) to battle the Quakers in a Section 6 Erie County I challenge on Friday, June 11. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Orchard Park lost 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY)
