Virginia High School Soccer - Mathews toppled by West Point
June 10, 2025: West Point, VA 23181 West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Mathews Blue Devils (Mathews, VA), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Point advances its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league test on Friday, June 13. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 13-4. George Wythe won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA)
The Blue Devils now have a 6-8 record.
