June 10, 2025: Iowa Falls, IA 50126 Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), 6-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Iowa Falls-Alden upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Cadets travel to Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA) to play the Lions in a North Central game on Wednesday, June 11. The Lions enter the game with a record of 9-4. Clear Lake lost 18-4 in their recent non-league game against Central Springs (Manly, IA)
The Cougars now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Sumner-Fredericksburg for a non-league game on Wednesday, June 11. AGWSR will play a Cougars squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 5-4.
