Iowa High School Softball - Sioux City East gets by Harlan
June 11, 2025: Sioux City, IA 51106 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Sioux City East Black Raiders softball team scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Harlan Cyclones.
The Black Raiders (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA). The Stars go into the Missouri River match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Sioux City North tipped Sergeant Bluff-Luton (Sergeant Bluff, IA), 3-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Cyclones battle the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) in a Hawkeye 10 match, on Thursday, June 12. Harlan will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Monarchs go into the match with a 3-10 record after their 14-4 league loss to Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA).
