June 12, 2025: Alburnett, IA 52202 The Alburnett Pirates (Alburnett, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Calamus-Wheatland Warriors (Wheatland, IA), 17-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Wilton for a non-league challenge on Friday, June 13.
With the defeat, Calamus-Wheatland drops to 2-10 on the year. The Warriors host Camanche (Camanche, IA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 14. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Camanche lost 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA)
