June 12, 2025: Hampton, IA The Hampton-Dumont/CAL baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting North Butler Bearcats to 2 in the non-league win on Thursday.
The now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Algona for a North Central test on Monday, June 16. Hampton-Dumont/CAL will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Solon (Solon, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-3.
With the defeat, North Butler drops to 4-8 on the year. The Bearcats host Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA) to play the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, June 16. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-10. Northwood-Kensett lost 15-5 in their recent non-league test against Osage (Osage, IA)
