June 13, 2023: Eldon, IA 52554 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA) and the host Cardinal Comets (Eldon, IA), saw Davis County's baseball squad knock off Cardinal by a count of 5-2.
Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Knoxville Panthers (Knoxville, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, June 16. Davis County will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Panthers go into the match with a 7-0 record after their 15-5 non-league win over Pella Christian (Pella, IA).
The Comets (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record.
