In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Queensbury Spartans lacrosse squad scored a good 21-11 triumph over the Owego Free Academy River Hawks.

The Spartans (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayport-Blue Point (Bayport, NY). The Phantoms go into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Bayport-Blue Point knocked off Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY), 15-7, in a non-league challenge.
