Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), 17-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Gate City upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Virginia (Bristol, VA) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, June 16. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 11-5. Virginia won 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Central (Norton, VA)
