Iowa High School Baseball - Newman Catholic gets by Nashua-Plainfield
June 14, 2024: Nashua, IA 50658 Newman Catholic Knights (Mason City, IA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newman Catholic upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Saturday, June 15. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 7-12. St. Albert lost 14-2 in their recent non-league test against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA)
With the defeat, Nashua-Plainfield falls to 8-5 on the season. The Huskies travel to Central Springs (Manly, IA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, June 17. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 4-11.
