In Saturday's non-league test, the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), by a tally of 11-3.

Next, the Bears clash with the North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar test, on Monday, June 16. B-G-M will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Warhawks go into the test with a 12-2 record after their 10-7 league win over Iowa Valley (Marengo, IA).

The Sabers (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Moulton-Udell was routed by Melcher-Dallas (Melcher, IA), 12-2, in a non-league test.
