June 14, 2025: Maxwell, IA The Newell-Fonda Mustangs (Newell, IA) softball routed the host Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA), 11-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Mustangs now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Sac County for a Twin Lakes outing on Monday, June 16. Newell-Fonda will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Collins-Maxwell moves to 8-3 on the season. The host Clarksville (Clarksville, IA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league outing on Monday, June 16. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 12-0. Clarksville won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against GMG (Garwin, IA)
