Iowa High School Softball - Twin Cedars drops to East Marshall
June 14, 2025: Le Grand, IA 50142 East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Twin Cedars Sabers (Bussey, IA), 11-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, East Marshall improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Mustangs host Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to face the Spartans in a North Iowa Cedar - West game on Monday, June 16. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 11-5. Grundy Center lost 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA)
The Sabers now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to B-G-M for a non-league game on Saturday, June 14. Twin Cedars will face a Bears squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over West Branch (West Branch, IA). The Bears record now stands at 8-3.
