Iowa High School Softball - Wilton bounces Camanche
June 15, 2024: Camanche, IA 52730 Wilton Beavers (Wilton, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Beavers now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they host Tipton for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 17. Wilton will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 17-4 non-league loss to Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Camanche falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Indians host Clinton (Clinton, IA) to battle the River Kings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, June 18. The River Kings enter the challenge with a record of 2-21. Clinton lost 12-0 in their recent league challenge against North Scott (Eldridge, IA)
