June 15, 2024: Manly, IA 50456 The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) softball the host Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), 5-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Golden Hawks (6-10) will now prepare for their bout against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets go into the non-league bout with a 11-5 record. In their last bout, West Liberty was routed by Muscatine (Muscatine, IA), 9-3, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Nashua-Plainfield for a Top of Iowa-East bout on Monday, June 17. Central Springs will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-16.
